Where Your ₹1,000 Donation Actually Goes: A Breakdown

Donor trust is earned one rupee at a time, so here's exactly how a ₹1,000 donation — our entry-level "Kit Starter" tier — moves through Keshav Foundation.

The full breakdown

Allocation % of funds What it covers
Direct Athlete Support 60% Coaching fees at our partner academy, plus rackets, shuttles, and shoes
Nutrition & Wellness 20% Specialized diet plans and monthly health check-ups for beginner and intermediate batches
Education & Workshops 15% Experts for mental resilience, sports science, and academic tutoring
Operations 5% Keeping our digital hub running so athletes, donors, and coaches stay connected

What ₹1,000 buys, specifically

At our Kit Starter tier, ₹1,000 provides one girl in our beginner batch with a professional racket and a month's supply of shuttles. It's the smallest, most concrete unit of impact we offer — no ambiguity about where the money lands.

Scale that up:

  • ₹2,500 (Nutrition Boost) — a full quarter of specialized sports nutrition for one athlete
  • ₹5,000 (Academy Bridge) — one month of elite coaching at our partner academy for a scholarship recipient
  • ₹15,000 (Champion's Season) — a full 6-month scholarship: gear, coaching, and tournament entry fees

How we report back

We publish an annual Impact Report and send quarterly newsletters to donors with stories from the court alongside the financial breakdown for that period. If you've donated at the Champion's Season tier, you can also request personalized progress updates from the specific athlete your contribution supports.

A note on tax status

We're often asked whether donations are tax-deductible. Keshav Foundation is registered under Section 80G, so your donation qualifies for a tax deduction. We're in the process of uploading our 80G certificate to the site — until it's live, contact us and we'll send you a copy along with your donation receipt. Read more in Understanding 80G in India.
